Greenpeace have called on supermarkets and the public around the UK to drastically reduce and limit the use of their plastic packaging. In the new campaign, created by Ogilvy & Mather London, Greenpeace project a vision of the Ocean of the future, where the seas are filled with plastic waste instead of marine wildlife. UK supermarkets alone generate 800,000 tonnes of plastic packaging each year which directly leads to the destruction of this marine life and their natural habitats.
